Water Treasures

Inspired by a childhood game my mother invented called Water Treasures, these photographs capture the interaction of shells, rocks, jewelry, and other treasures with water and the magic moment of the splash.

The treasures are in a clear glass bowl and were shot on plexiglass with one gelled speed light on the ground underneath providing color and brightness. In addition the last 3 images have a speed light modified with a snoot, which narrows the beam of light, in order to illuminate the top part of the splash.
